“The hot air balloon trip was about $400 CAD per person. My partner and I decided it would be a great addition to our trip especially since we never experienced a hot air balloon ride. We were told we would need to be in up and ready for 4am as flights are around 6am-8am with the 6am sunrise spots being the most preferred. The day before the trip we were advised we would be on the 7:30am group and would need to leave at 5am. “I had booked this trip as a treat for my husband. The details I had booked and on the ticket gave a pick up from our hotel and creation a cave. The afternoon prior to the event I received a note saying that the hotel was too far away and we should get to a named hotel and would be picked up. I argued but to no avail.. I expected breakfast in a cave, that didn’t happen. The food was good but not what was expected. The balloon ride was great! But organisation less so!”
