Review of the Cancun Tulum and Coba tour with a cenote cave swim, Mexican buffet, tastings, practical costs, timing, and honest advice.

“My wife and I truly had the Perfect Day with this Viator tour (Amigo Tours). Visiting Tulum first thing in the morning before the sweltering heat hit was ideal. Coba was great too. Using the tricycles pedaled by the Coba facilities was fun. We saw so many interesting and historic things. Our driver (Jose) was very skilled and our tour guide (Ricardo) was the best - knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. He made our 8 person tour group feel like a family. You could tell how gifted he was with his knowledge of the history and culture of the Mayans. Our trip to the cenote seemed questionable at first driving down…”

“Coba is under rated. It should be before Tulum or on it's own. This place deserves a cleansing before entering. Coba is so beautiful. It is humbling to stand in a place where others more creative than myself have imagined. It is truly magnificent.”

Review of a Tulum ruins and Cenote Puerta Maya day trip from Cancun, including costs, transport, guide quality, swimming, and practical tips.

“Our trip was cancelled by the tour provider, Cancun Experience, with very short notice. We had no opportunity to arrange a different tour. The reason provided was the tour guide had a family emergency. It may have had more to do with not selling enough tickets. Very disappointing. Choose a different tour provider to avoid a similar disappointment.”

“Paul was an amazing tour guide, and Saul was a great driver getting us all across the Yucatan for this adventure. They're a dream team! Getting to Coba early was perfect, the cenote was beautiful and tons of fun, and Chichen Itza was obviously unforgettable. I would recommend this tour (especially if Paul is guiding and Saul is driving) to anyone!”

Review of Cancun’s 4x1 tour to Tulum, Cobá, a cenote, and Playa del Carmen, with honest advice on timing, costs, guides, and value.

“Zeferino, our guide was friendly and informative. His knowledge of the Mayan history phenomenal. Our driver Vinnie as well was awesome and friendly. Doing 4 things in one day that lasted from pick up to drop off (14 hrs) was a lot and fairly long bus rides in between stops. Buffet lunch was phenomenal. On board snacks that came with our package consisted of a ham/cheese sandwich, apple and juice box. Tulum, Coba were awesome. In Tulum be prepared for a lot of walking in direct sun. Coba was tree covered and more comfortable. The Cenote too was beautiful. The bus was over air-conditioned and particularly after swimming in the…”
